                      CAMPAIGN FOR DISASTER RELIEF

The cost of providing disaster relief over the past year has rapidly outpaced contributions to the American Red Cross, depleting our Disaster Relief Fund. To replenish this fund, we have launched a nationwide campaign to raise an initial $100 million for the American
Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

The Red Cross has responded to an unusually high number of disasters this year. We helped the victims of the worst flooding in the central United States in 15 years, a record number of tornadoes, an early wildfire season and an active hurricane season including Dolly, Fay, Gustav, Hanna and Ike.

Now, the Red Cross needs your help. Please support the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which enables us to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to disaster victims, whenever and wherever they need us.
